The Kingwood Branch Library offers free computer and device classes throughout the month. The classes offered for the weeks of March 2-14 are listed below.

Disney's First African-American Princess!

 Don't forget as we celebrate Black History Month by recognizing "Tiana" Disney's first African-American Princess.  Tomorrow starting at 4:30 pm in the meeting room, we have African drum and kente cloth  crafts followed by the hit movie "The Princess and the Frog" at 6:30 pm.  Please join us as we close out our Black History Month celebration.

March and April Fun4Seniors Trips departing from Kingwood Branch Library

fun4seniorsHarris County Precinct 4's Senior Adult Program is offering the following Fun4Seniors Excursion Trips for library customers in February and March 2015. Participating is simple. Participants must be 50 years and better and must register for trips by calling 281-893-3726.

Black History Program Thursday @ 4pm

Black History MonthCelebrate Black History Month with us and stop by for a special program this Thursday, February 26th, at 4:00pm in the Children's Activity Room.  Storyteller Jean Donatto, from Young Audiences of Houston, will perform “Sister Rosa Parks, the Bus Stops Here”. 

Para los Niños Today at 4pm

Para los NinosStop by today, February 23rd, at 4:00 PM in the Children's Activity Room for our special Para los Niños program!  This family program serves parents whose first language is Spanish and is provided for free by the Children's Museum of Houston.  Everyone is welcome so join in on the activities!
