Come watch this Bollywood version of Pride and Prejudice at Teen Time on Monday, May 21 at 4 pm. Mrs. Bakshi is desperate to find suitable husbands for her four daughters and when rich gentlemen, Balraj and Darcy come to the area her hopes soar.
It's time for the annual Houston Art Car Parade. Join us in the Kid's Zone at Sam Houston Park this Saturday, May 12 at 11 am for lots of crafts and fun, not to mention HCPL's own Art Carts!
May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Celebrate this special month with a Craft & Go just for adults! On Saturday, May 12th at 1:30 PM we will be giving away Craft & Go Shadow Puppet kits at the Information Desk. Supplies are limited. First come, first served.

New Volunteer Orientation

Are you interested in helping your community? Volunteer at the library! Pick up an application at the information desk. Must attend orientation before volunteer work can begin. Anyone under 18 needs parental permission. Volunteers under 12 must volunteer with a parent or guardian's supervision.
