Grand Opening - Jocelyn H. Lee Innovation Lab

At long last, the Jocelyn H. Lee Innovation Lab is almost ready for its debut!  Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 28th, beginning at 10:00 AM, when we cut the ribbon and officially open the library's first makerspace to the public!  Come meet Innovation Lab Assistant Patrick Ferrell, learn about all the equipment and activities that will be available, register for a variety of March maker programs, or visit with expert maker group CreatorSpace.  

We hope you will join us for this special occasion, the first of its kind for Freeman Branch Library!

TGIF Programs - Friday Film Series this Friday!


The Friday Film Series returns to TGIF Programs on Friday, January 30 at 10:15 AM in the Marge Jacobson Community Room. We will be showing My Fellow Americans which stars Jack Lemmon, James Garner, and Dan Aykroyd. This film, which came out in 1996, is rated PG-13.

Homeschoolers: Cast your vote for the Texas Bluebonnet Award on Friday, January 30!

This month children throughout Texas are casting their vote for the 2015 Texas Bluebonnet Award at their schools.  Clear Lake area homeschooled children can cast their vote at Freeman LIbrary this Friday, January 30 any time from 10 am - 6 pm.

Baby Playtime Returns on Friday, January 23!

Looking for a creative activity to do with your baby?  Then join us this Friday, January 23 from 10:00-11:00 am for Baby Playtime.  This program is designed for children from infants through 18 months old along with a parent or caregiver.
