Just a reminder: Registration for a drawing for spots in the LEGO Robotics Camp sponsored by United Space Alliance (USA) and the Friends of Freeman Library begins this Saturday, May 19 and runs through next Saturday, May 26. 
The under 50 over Program at Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library invites you to join us Friday, May 18th at 10:30 AM in the Internet Cafe on the First Floor. We will be observing a basket weaving demonstration. 
If you're looking for something to do this Friday, May 18 with your baby, join us for Baby Playtime in the Children's Activity Space at 10:00 am. This program is designed for children ages 0-18 months along with a parent or caregiver. We'll have educational toys, bubbles, board books and lots of fun! Come hang out with your child while you mingle with other adults. No tickets are required for this program. 
. There will be two sessions of the camp each week: 1-2:30 pm or 3-4:30 pm. This free camp is designed for children 7-11 years old. It is sponsored by the United Space Alliance (USA) and the Friends of Freeman Library. The children learn math, science, and robotics concepts as they work in pairs to put together a LEGO project each week. The camp is led by a teacher who will be assisted by teen and adult volunteers.

Microsoft Excel I
Where: Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library at Training Lab
Come see what's new with MS Excel 2007!
Your library has now upgraded to this new version of MS Excel and here is one of the first classes. We will cover all the new and exciting environment. This is a two-day class. Must attend Part I in order to register/attend Part II.
Don't miss them! Limited to 19 people per class.
Toddler Time
Where: Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library at Children's Activity Space
A year-round program, Mon.,Tues. & Wed. at 11:15 am. Recommended for children 18 months to 3 years old. Features books, music, fingerplays and occasional crafts. Tickets are required. They are free and available at the Kids Information Desk starting 30 minutes before the program.
Chess Club
Where: Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library at Children's Activity Space
Come join us in the Children's Activity Space for some chess. For beginners - you can pick up some tips on how to play chess. For chess players - try your chess moves against other players. Recommended for children ages 6-12 years. Free tickets required. Tickets given out 30 minutes prior to event at the Children's Reference Desk.
Teen Advisory and Leadership Board
Where: Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library at Conference Room
Let your voice be heard! If you want to help out with teen projects or programs, come join us. You can also receive volunteer hours (and pizza!) for participating in our monthly meetings.
